Why Choose Kinesiology & Ayurveda?
Both Kinesiology and Ayurveda offer ways to observe your body’s signals and restore balance. Most people sense something feels “off”, but don’t realise they’re living in survival stress, because it feels normal (“that’s just how I am”).

Symptoms often show up after we’ve pushed too far. We override fatigue, suppress emotions, and call it “being strong", but the body keeps track. The real challenge isn’t knowing what we need, but the state we’re in while trying to act on it.

In a survival state, our focus narrows. We become reactive, guarded, and constantly scanning for danger, which drains the body and eventually leads to exhaustion and chronic symptoms.

Feelings of unworthiness or shame often go unnoticed at first. Quick fixes don't resolve them long-term, yet these coping patterns can feel like self-care, keeping us stuck in the same cycles.

Kinesiology and Ayurveda provide tools to help you recognise these deeply wired stress patterns, and how burried emotions influence your physical, emotional, and mental health, supporting a shift from survival into a more grounded way of being.

From there, you can begin to notice your state more quickly and make adjustments earlier, so your body isn't carrying the full load and has the resources to repair and function well.
State Survival Grounded
Response Reactive, guarded, scanning for danger Calm, present, and responsive
Body Relationship Pushing through and overriding signals Listening and adjusting to the body
Awareness Narrow, stuck perspective Clear, flexible awareness
Emotional Pattern Coping patterns that loop (numbing, avoiding) Processing and integrating emotions
Energy State Drained, tense, compensating Energised, supported, regulated

About Me
How Can I Help?
❞
I aim to meet you where you are.
In my practice, I support clients navigating physical discomfort and emotional challenges, and what may be driving them. My work integrates Kinesiology and Ayurveda, alongside a background in counselling, PhD research on wellness, and my own experience of working through physical limitations.

This has shaped how I understand the body's signals and the role of  subconscious patterns. When these patterns are brought into awareness, it becomes easier to shift out of survival-based responses into a more grounded, resilient way of being.

How Can Kinesiology Help You?
Using muscle monitoring, we can observe how your body responds in real time - revealing how it has adapted to stress and life experiences. This helps us understand what may be driving your symptoms and where your system is asking for support.
It's not a quick fix, but a way to reduce the noise of an overactive nervous system so you can actually hear what you body has been signalling all along.
From the place of awareness, you can begin to see your patterns more clearly, your pain, your adaptations, your resilience, and choose how you respond, rather than staying in automatic reactions.

FAQs

Kinesiology is a gentle, holistic approach that uses muscle monitoring to identify imbalances across your structural, chemical, emotional, and energetic systems. It supports your body's natural ability to restore balance and promotes overall well-being.

Ayurveda is an ancient system of natural medicine from India that focuses on balancing your body's energies (doshas) through diet, lifestyle, herbs, and therapies. It promotes health, longevity, and supports the management of chronic conditions by improving digestion, immunity, and overall balance.

Kinesiology identifies energy blockages, while Ayurveda provides practical tools to restore balance. Together, they offer a powerful, personalised approach to healing the root cause—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

If you're dealing with stress, anxiety, fatigue, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, chronic pain, or simply want to feel more like yourself again—this work can help.

Session Length: First sessions are 75–90 minutes; follow-ups are typically 60–90 minutes.
Treatment Plan: The number of sessions varies—some see results in 1–3, others benefit from ongoing support.
Format: Ayurveda consultations are available online. Kinesiology is best in person, but remote sessions are available when needed.
Preparation: For Kinesiology, wear comfortable clothes and avoid heavy meals or caffeine. For Ayurveda, bring notes about your diet, lifestyle, and health concerns.

These methods work well alongside conventional care. Always inform your healthcare provider. While not typically covered by standard insurance, some extended plans may offer reimbursement—check with your provider.

I combine the insight of muscle testing with the deep wisdom of Ayurveda to uncover the root of your symptoms and guide your healing — gently and effectively.

Clients often feel more energised, calmer, sleep better, and experience improved digestion and overall well-being. Everyone’s journey is unique, and your results will reflect your body’s own pace and needs.

Occasionally, people feel a bit tired or emotional after a session—this is a normal part of the healing process and usually passes quickly.
